    • Ultrasound Abdominal

      Preparation:

      • The night before the exam - do not eat foods that may provoke gas such as beans, green salads, vegetables, milk and yogurt.
      • For exams taking place in the morning – you should not have consumed any solid foods. You may drink water or other liquids (no pulp or residues).
      • For exams taking place in the afternoon – you should eat a light lunch, such as, tea with sugar and toast without butter.

      Preparation:

      • Children until the age of 1 year old: the child should fast for 3 hours (or a period of fasting equal to the normal period between meals, as long as the duration is at least 3 hours).
      • Children 1 to 6 years of age: The child should fast for 4 hours.
      • Children older than 6 years old: The child should fast for 6 hours.
