Hospital da Luz Arrábida has been present in the morning of September 19, at Fundação Dr António Cupertino de Miranda, in Porto, in another Maternity Marathon Fair. This was the 10 th edition of the initiative dedicated to families and the promotion of maternity, health and welfare during pregnancy and the baby’s first months of life. Throughout the Maternity Fair, participants had the opportunity to choose between multiple activities, such as practical lessons on changing diapers and ´baby bathing, belly paintings, photography of pregnancy and babies, 4D echography, stretching and relaxation for pregnant women. In the space occupied by Hospital da Luz Arrábida, families learned more about our maternity hospital and the Porto Baby Centre, namely the services available and courses destined to future parents and families. The initiative also counted with the presence of our mascot Lu, who helped make this a more proximal and special moment, promoting interaction with the families visiting the fair. This participation in another edition of the event gathering hundreds of families every year, reinforced Hospital da Luz Arrábida’s proximity to the community and divulged information on the follow-up and services that we offer in the various stages of motherhood.
