Hospital da Luz Guimarães is now the official medical provider of Vitória Sport Clube under the new agreement that reinforces the bonding between the two institutions since January 2025. In the context of this partnership, Hospital da Luz ensures clinical assistance to athletes of all the club’s modalities, including professional football, and members benefit from special conditions of access to health services. The new agreement was signed by Silvério Alves, Vitória’s vice-president and SAD’s manager, and Sérgio Viana and Ana Abreu, respectively the manager and general director of Hospital da Luz Guimarães. The bonding between Vitória and Hospital da Luz Guimarães started with a partnership to support athletes from sports modalities, a few months later extended to professional football. The bonding enlargement gave rise to initiatives and campaigns, with special emphasis to the project “A conqueror from birth” (Conquistador desde Pequenino), an initiative launched in April this year that facilitates the registration of babies born at Hospital da Luz maternity in the family of Vitória’s members. The team work between the two institutions has translated into results and both regard the development of the connection with optimism. The renewal and reinforcement of the partnership now enters a new stage, with Hospital da Luz becoming the official medical provider of the Conquistadores club. Under this protocol, Hospital da Luz provides medical services and customized assistance to Vitória’s athletes, in the various modalities as in professional football. Vitória’s Sport Clube members also benefit from discounts on the current price list at Hospital da Luz Guimarães (*), namely: Emergency consultations 24 hours/day. Programmed consultations in medical or surgical specialities. Complementary diagnostic exams. Dentistry treatments. Surgeries and hospitalization. Detailed information on the protocol can be obtained near the Vitória’s Sport Clube administrative services. (*) Discounts are not cumulative with other benefits from health insurance agreements and other conventions.
