The official presentation of the senior team’s players of Associação Académica de Coimbra , which will be competing in the Basketball Major League for the next season of 2021-2022, took place last September 6 at Hospital da Luz Coimbra. Being the official medical provider, Hospital da Luz Coimbra offers support and assistance to AAC / Basketball athletes, both in senior and training teams. The goal for this season, as stated by the AAC / Basketball president, João Frazão, to Diário de Coimbra, is “to repeat the recipe of the preceding season, maintaining Académica in the top tier of the modality and rendering a service to the municipality and to basketball, not only with the senior team, but also with the training teams”. We recall that Hospital da Luz Coimbra is the official medical provider of the “ Briosa ” athletes in different modalities, such as handball, football, roller hockey and rugby, besides basketball.
