The team of this new service will ensure that all clients are duly referred to the healthcare most adequate to their situation, within 48 hours. The Direct Line Oncology: Has, as first access, the national phone number 217 104 430 ; It is destined exclusively to adults ; Speeds up access and provides support in oncologic care , from the diagnosis of cancer to the orientation of treatment; Is ensured by a team of specialized professionals, which evaluate each case based on strict clinical protocols; Refers each case, within 48 hours , to the most adequate healthcare, according to the evaluation of the clinical situation performed by its team of professionals. The Direct Line Oncology of Hospital da Luz may be used by clients in any situation. For instance, when: There is suspicion of oncologic disease , either for medical guidance or to carry out diagnostic exams already prescribed; They intend to undertake oncologic treatment at Hospital da Luz; They wish to get a second medical opinion on a diagnosed oncologic disease; They need medical orientation to do an oncologic check-up .
