The debates promoted last month by the Centre of Studies in Bioethics (NEBio) of the Portuguese Society of Internal Medicine (SPMI), on “ Ethical questions in times of pandemic ”, registered great interest and a second round of meetings has already been scheduled: every Thursday, between May 14 and June 11, with online streaming and counting with the participation of specialists from Hospital da Luz, among others. Moderated by António H. Carneiro , the coordinator of NEBio, and specialist in Internal Medicine and Intensive Medicine, and director of the department of Medicine, Emergency and Intensive Care at Hospital da Luz Arrábida, these debates view to discuss the ethical, personal and professional challenges of the present context.
