Hospital da Luz Setúbal will remain in 2022 the official medical provider for Clube de Ténis de Setúbal . The protocol was formalized last October 11 by Cristina Fezas Vital, the Hospital da Luz Setúbal general manager, and representatives of the club. As partner, Hospital da Luz Setúbal will ensure clinical assistance , whenever necessary, to the athletes participating in the over 25 official competitions that are held in the club – including B level events, regional, national and international championships. Besides, it will provide health screenings destined to the general population, in specific events. This partnership happens in the context of the activities developed by Hospital da Luz Setúbal near the community, with special emphasis on the promotion of sports and physical exercise as decisive factors in health and welfare. Since the beginning of 2021, Hospital da Luz Setúbal has a Centre of Sports Medicine , that offers all the services necessary to ensure the follow-up of athletes, both amateurs and top-level professionals, but also of people with chronic diseases that need to do physical exercise. In this new centre, our clients can find a multidisciplinary team including specialists in Sports Medicine, Cardiology, Imaging, Nutrition, Orthopaedics, Pulmonology and Psychology.
