Channel 1 (Pervyi Kanal) of Russian public television broadcasted in September a program about the city of Lisbon , which portrays the daily lives of its inhabitants and in the various stages of life. The Hospital da Luz Lisboa maternity is presented as the institution that provides the best conditions for the birth of the children of those living in the Portuguese capital. The “The Life of Others” is a program that aims to show how the inhabitants of foreign cities live, from birth to old age. The reporting team that runs the show accompanied a pregnant woman who is a client of the hospital and interviewed Doctor Paula Arteaga, director of the maternity ward, about the assistance given there.
