In this first year of operation, 151 babies have been born at Hospital da Luz Vila Real : 71 girls and 80 boys. The first baby to be born in our hospital was Matilde , whose first birthday is today, and came with her mother, Ângela Meireles, to greet the team that accompanied them. In the photo above , Matilde and her mother with gyneacologist and obstetrician Maria Clara Santana and Carmo Rafael, clinical nurse specialist in maternal health. The doctor who followed the pregnancy and assisted the childbirth one year ago was José Alexandre de Carvalho. The Hospital da Luz Vila Real congratulates the families of these babies and whishes them all the best.
