Grupo Luz Saúde , presently celebrating 20 years of existence, joined Grace - Empresas Responsáveis, a non-profit entrepreneurial organization of public interest intervening in the areas of social responsibility and sustainability. In its 20 th anniversary, Luz Saúde chose over 20 associations with different kinds of social intervention, with which it will undertake initiatives of solidarity and involvement in the community, and promote the spirit of volunteerism among its collaborators. The development of some of the initiatives of the Luz Saúde program “20 years, 20 causes” is done in cooperation with Grace who is also celebrating 20 years. Founded in February 2000 by seven multinational and other entities, Grace association gathers annually over 170 companies of different dimensions and from different fields of activity, committed to the sustainable development of communities and organizations. It strives to answer the needs of the present world and the evolution of corporate social responsibility, being today a platform of share and support to companies in the structuring of their politics of social responsibility and sustainability, simultaneously being an element of influence in public politics and national or international tendencies. 20 years, 20 causes The 20 th anniversary of Luz Saúde is being celebrated within the group with several initiatives, on internal and external level. In this scope, a great majority of the actions envisaged in the program “20 years, 20 causes” will count with the direct involvement of the collaborators and the group, on behalf of Portuguese associations with work developed in different areas of intervention in society, from health and environment, to inclusion and fighting poverty. Along its years of existence, Luz Saúde has developed multiple activities of sustainability and social responsibility. Now that it celebrates its 20 th anniversary, it could not but reinforce the commitment of collaboration with the communities it serves and the Portuguese society in general.
