ADSE informed its beneficiaries, on December 17, in an information note published on its official website, that as of February 2025 it would there is a maximum limit on co-payments for surgical episodes made by clients. Given that doubts have arisen regarding this issue among many ADSE beneficiaries who seek out Hospital da Luz for this type of treatment, it is important to clarify that: The aforementioned information note refers to co-payments of up to €500 only for the acts listed therein, namely: “surgical procedure, fees, various expenses in the surgical center, including medication; consumption in surgical hospitalization, including daily expenses, medications, blood and some acts from the medical table (Packages - Fixed Price)”; Acts not mentioned in the ANS note, but which may also be part of the journey of the surgical patient who is a beneficiary of this subsystem - namely: clinical analyses; radiology examinations; Medical procedures other than those considered Packages - Fixed Price in the aforementioned medical table; Medical daily fees; unagreed acts, among others – are not included in the maximum co-payment limit now defined by ADSE. Considering the information provided by ADSE to its beneficiaries and the clarifications provided to providers following the questions raised in the meantime, Hospital da Luz advises all ADSE beneficiaries to seek our services to: Validate your estimated co-payment in advance with the clinical secretariat or the surgery support service at Hospital da Luz where the procedure will be performed. According to the information provided to providers, these ADSE rules apply to beneficiaries of the PSP, IASFA/ADM, and GNR.
