Applications are now open for the Integrated Master in Medicine of the Católica Medical School, at Portuguese Catholic University (UCP), for the academic year 2022/2023 . This will be the second year of operation of this new Medicine course, the first private in Portugal and the result of a partnership between UCP and Luz Saúde and the Hospital da Luz Network. For the first year of operation, more than a hundred students applied for 50 vacancies. In the academic year that will begin in September of this year, 75 places are expected to be opened . In addition to the general requirements relating to the completion of secondary education, to apply for this integrated master's degree in Medicine, it is necessary to fulfill, among others, the following selection and ranking prerequisites: proficiency in English, interpersonal communication skills, presentation of a letter of motivation and a portfolio and participation in a set of mini-interviews that aim to assess whether candidates have the essential skills needed for a medical student and a future doctor.
