On May 7, with reference to the World Hand Hygiene Day, this year celebrated on May 5, Cliria will organize a walking along the city of Aveiro, an initiative open to everyone. The participants must gather at Cliria Polo 2 (Rua Cristóvão de Pinho Queimado), where the walking is to be started, following along Aveiro’s train station and Av. Lourenço Peixinho (along the cycleway), ending near Fonte Nova. The World Hand Hygiene Day is an initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO), integrated in the global plan World Alliance for Patient Safety – Clean Care is Safer Care, joined by Portugal. Once again, Cliria joins this celebration with several initiatives happening in Aveiro, with the purpose of sensitizing the population for the importance of handwashing.
