In March, until Easter day, all babies born at Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim will be snuggled in clothing alluding to the season: an egg and a beanie, in white and yellow polar fleece. The idea and creative process of this special Easter “wrapping” were conceived by Augusta Matos , Gynaecology-Obstetrics physician, and Ana Linda Pinto, surgical nurse, who made the pattern. The Hospital took care of the manufacturing. “This is an affectionate way of welcoming our babies”, points out Augusta Matos. The Easter outfit replicates the idea of the Christmas “stocking”, introduced in 2020 by suggestion of the same professionals. In both cases, the reaction of the parents has been very positive for it allows them to snuggle their babies even better.
