Hélder Dores , Coordinator of Clinical Cardiology at Hospital da Luz Lisboa, took his aggregation exams on 21 May at Nova Medical School , where he is an Assistant Professor. As part of the examinations, he presented a pedagogical report proposing the creation of an Executive Master’s in Cardiovascular Prevention, while his lecture addressed Current Challenges in Sports Cardiology. The examination panel was chaired by Professor Roberto Palma dos Reis (President of the Scientific Council of Nova Medical School), and also included Professors Lino Gonçalves, Henrique Cyrne de Carvalho, José Gomes-Pereira, Nuno Neuparth and Carlos Filipe. The Hospital da Luz cardiologist, who also has expertise in Aeronautical Medicine and Military Medicine and has been dedicated to sports medicine, maintains a strong academic and scientific activity. He is a member of several research centres and regularly acts as a trainer and invited speaker at national and international meetings in his field of expertise.
