The team comprising orthopedists David Sá and Bruno Barbosa has recently performed with success the first hip arthroscopy at Hospital da Luz Vila Real. Is indicated in cases of labrum injuries (also known as the “hip meniscus”) and cartilage lesions. Enables moreover the removal of articular loose bodies and elimination of inflammation in the synovial membrane (synovitis).
