Hospital da Luz Clínica Santa Maria da Feira , inaugurated in 2022, obtained its first Bureau Veritas Certification Portugal according to ISO 9001:2015, for exams performed in the specialties of Medical Imaging and Gastroenterology. The external auditing carried out on the 7 and 8 November, acknowledged the quality of the services provided by the Clinic, as well as by Hospital da Luz Arrábida , also gaining the renewal of its certification in the same areas and furthermore in the areas of Sterilization and Transfusion Medicine. Hospital da Luz Clínica de Santa Maria da Feira operates in integration with Hospital da Luz Arrábida. The certification now obtained includes, namely: Medical Imaging (HL Arrábida and HL Clínica Santa Maria da Feira) – for exams performed in the areas of Radiology and Neuroradiology, involving the following techniques: Conventional Radiology (x-rays); Contrast Radiology; Interventional Radiology; Echography; Computer Tomography (CT); Magnetic Resonance (MR); Mammography; Densitometry. Central Sterilization (HL Arrábida): Cleaning and packaging of non-critical material; Disinfection and packaging of semi-critical material; Cleaning, disinfection, packaging and sterilization of critical material. Transfusion Medicine (HL Arrábida): Preparation and dispatching of blood components and / or blood products for transfusion application; Conduction of immune-hematology trials. Gastroenterology (HL Arrábida and HL Clínica Santa Maria da Feira): Gastroenterology exams; Endoscopies with and without anesthesia.
