Hospital da Luz Arrábida has sponsored the 10 th edition of Porto International Hip Meeting , a scientific meeting that gathered on July 2 and 3 specialists in hip surgery from all over the world. Jorge Cruz de Melo and Fernando Leal were part of the organization of the event that aims to share knowledge, innovation, and the best clinical practice in the diagnosis and treatment of hip diseases. The 2026 edition, a commemorative one, had a comprehensive scientific program including themes such as hip preservation surgery, primary and revision arthroplasty, complex reconstruction, and new technologies and surgical approaches. During the two days, participants have had the opportunity to discuss clinical cases, attend lectures with international specialists, and watch surgeries on video, attend interactive workshops and scientific sessions, always in a practical approach based on evidence.
