The 29 th edition of Lidl Porto City S. Silvestre Running, in Porto, will take place next December 30, counting for the first time with Hospital da Luz Arrábida as partner. To end nicely the year 2023, either running or walking, let us join together health and welfare in a memorable competition. Up to 12 thousand people are already registered to participate in both events of the competition, once again starting and ending in Avenida dos Aliados, passing through the main routes of the “Invicta” city: The 10-km running; The 5-km walking, without competitive purposes. This Hospital da Luz Arrábida support arises in the context of a continuing bet on the promotion of health and welfare near the community – through healthy life habits, where physical activity and the practise of sport are fundamental – and in the area of Sports Medicine. Counting with a Sports Medicine Center , Hospital da Luz Arrábida has the competency to perform the clinical follow up of any sports practitioner – recreational or professional –, throughout his active sports life. Before the race, on the 28 and 29 December, a Hospital da Luz team will also be at a stall in Alameda Shopping (where the kits for the event will be delivered), and gifts will be distributed to the participants.
