The 7 th edition of Poço Negro Trail, which took place last June 30 , followed trails along Serra da Boneca, Estivada and the Mau river valley, counting once again with the support and participation of many Hospital da Luz Arrábida collaborators, who helped organizing this solidarity event. The amount raised with registrations reverted to the Association for the Development of Mau River Borough, an IPSS in Penafiel that provides domiciliary support to elderly and children. Destined to enthusiasts of running and walking in nature, the Poço Negro Trail comprised three events: a 25 km-long trail, a 14 km-long trail and a 9 km walking. The initiative repeated the success of previous editions, registering the participation of over a thousand people. Beyond its solidarity aspect, the Poço Negro Trail is also an important means to promote physical exercise and a healthier life preventing disease – therefore, Hospital da Luz could not fail to be present.
