Hospital da Luz Clínica Santa Maria da Feira was once again one of the main sponsors of the Medieval Journey in Terra de Santa Maria , this year dedicated to the reign of King João I, Master of Avis. This historical recreation event, which is visited annually by more than half a million people in Santa Maria da Feira, once again counts on the Hospital da Luz Clínica de Santa Maria da Feira, which occupied one of the streets of the enclosure with its brand and distributed, among its employees, kits, and wristbands to access the venue and the shows that take place over the 12 days of the event. With many medieval characters, street performers, an intense program of period dance and theater shows and stalls selling local products spread throughout the fairgrounds, the Medieval Journey in Terra de Santa Maria ends on the 13th of August, this 26th edition being an opportunity to relive episodes of the reign of a king “of good memory”, who became known as “the father of the Portuguese”, and thus get to know better this important period in the History of Portugal. The Medieval Fair is in the historic center of Santa Maria da Feira and attracts thousands of tourists and residents every year. This year, the organization expects more people to visit the Fair compared to last year, expecting around 700,000 visitors by the end of the event.
