This year, Hospital da Luz Arrábida is once again one of the sponsors of the S. Silvestre do Porto Race and, among the participants already registered, 150 are Hospital employees. The Hospital da Luz ‘team’ will dress up and make themselves known through a huge blue spot, representing the Hospital’s brand colors and ensuring lots of excitement for the city’s most famous end-of-year race. While running or walking along S. Silvestre do Porto, participants will come across Hospital da Luz in other ways, which will be present with its brand along the route. Before S. Silvestre, on the days of the bib delivery, a team from HL Arrábida will be at Alameda Shopping distributing gifts, with a spin fun to cheer up those who pass by. S. Silvestre is a historic event in the city of Porto and this year celebrates three decades. The 30th edition of Lidl S. Silvestre Cidade do Porto takes place on December 29th, from 6pm on Avenida dos Aliados and will feature, as usual, the traditional 10km race and a 5km walk, without competitive purposes. The support from Hospital da Luz Arrábida comes as part of a continued commitment to promoting health and well-being within the community – through healthy lifestyle habits, of which physical activity and sports are a fundamental part – and in Sports Medicine. With a Sports Medicine Center , Hospital da Luz Arrábida has the capacity for clinical monitoring of any exerciser – from recreational to high performance – throughout their active sporting life.
