A Delegation of the Nursing School , Institute of Health Sciences, Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) took, last June 2, a visit to the Centre of Simulation, Research and Innovation of Hospital da Luz Learning Health , situated in the new building of Hospital da Luz Lisboa. There, they had the opportunity to see the most modern and differentiated simulators available, that are nowadays indispensable for the training and education of professionals in the health area. The visit of the director, Amélia Simões Figueiredo, and teacher Patrícia Pontífice de Sousa, also aimed to strengthen the already existing protocol relationship with Hospital da Luz, since its foundation in 2007. The guided tour was conducted by Francisca Leite (the director of Hospital da Luz Learning Health), Pedro Líbano Monteiro (the executive manager of Hospital da Luz Lisboa) and Anisabel Soares (nurse director of HL Lisboa), accompanied by Cátia Botelho Costa (the director of the Simulation Centre) and Isabel Gonçalves (chief nurse of HL Lisboa).
