Hospital da Luz Guimarães, medical service provider for athletes of Vitória Sport Clube, was the official sponsor of the match between the Vitória basketball senior men’s team and Sporting, held last April 12. The match, counting for the 20 th round of Betclic League, ended with the victory of the visiting team (87-97). On that day as official sponsor, Hospital da Luz took dozens of collaborators to watch the game in the stands and was present with a series of marketing activities, in the start and during halftime. The first 40 supporters arriving to Unidade Vimaranense Hall received a scarf from the hands of Hospital da Luz and the Club’s mascots, Lu and Super Afonso, respectively. During halftime, a contest launched to supporters rewarded the one who scored more baskets. Carolina, the young winner, received a Vitória and Hospital da Luz shirt and scarf. Hospital da Luz Guimarães provides medical services to athletes of Vitória Sport Clube since the beginning of season 2024/2025, in the context of a strategy towards strengthening the connexions with the community and local and regional institutions. The protocol between the two parts establishes special conditions of access to health services, not only for athletes, but also for the club’s members, collaborators, and families.
