Hospital da Luz Vila Franca de Xira was awarded the Excellence Award by the newspaper 'O Mirante,' as part of the Company of the Year awards. The ceremony, held on October 8th at the Convent of S. Francisco in the capital of Ribatejo, was attended by Pedro Patrício, manager at Luz Saúde and general director of the clinic, who explained the private healthcare group's objectives with the investment in the region: "We brought an investment of 80 million euros to Ribatejo: the first 20 million were allocated to Hospital da Luz in Vila Franca de Xira, a community clinic, which we usually refer to as a state-of-the-art healthcare center.
