Hospital da Luz has supported once again the Vila Real Families’ Pic-Nic , the celebration that annually gathers hundreds of families in Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro region, this year taking place on May 31. This was the 16 th edition of the event , at Corgo Park, and many of the participants have taken the opportunity to do a free health screening with the Hospital da Luz Vila Real team available on site. The Hospital da Luz nursing team conducted evaluations of glycemia, blood pressure, and body mass index. The Family Celebration / Families’ Pic-Nic (Festa da Família / Pic-Nic das Famílias) is an initiative promoted by Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro Association of Friends every year. The young ones have counted with various entertainment spaces and had the opportunity to have fun in inflatables and slides. Lu, the Hospital da Luz mascot, was also present cheering up children. Hospital da Luz Vila Real thanks the organization for the invitation and rejoices with everyone that has participated in the initiative, which is already a tradition in the district.
