In line with its strategy to support the local community, the Hospital da Luz – Centro Clínico da Amadora provided medical back up for players in the 4 th José Torres Children's Soccer Tournament, which took place on 4 and 5 October at the Monte da Galega Municipal Stadium in Amadora. The event for children aged between 10 and 11 years old featured teams from Sporting, Benfica, Belenenses, Damaiense, CD Estrela, Amavita Foot, ACRD Carenque and Damaia Ginásio, and involved around 100 young soccer players. In the final, Sporting beat Benfica 3-1. The Hospital da Luz - Amadora Clinic medical post was staffed by members of the nursing unit.
