Vitória SC and Hospital da Luz Guimarães are developing various activities raising awareness to the prevention of prostate cancer, in the context of Blue November movement. The Vitória SC (B) athletes are the face and voice of the campaign promoting the free screenings that Hospital da Luz Guimarães will hold on November 24, 25 and 26, destined to men over 50. Last Sunday, November 9 – during the match between Vitória SC (B) and AD Marco (counting for the A series 10 th round of the Third League) won by Vitória 1-0 – a team from Hospital da Luz was in the stands providing information and clarifying the doubts of fans. Hospital da Luz Guimarães is the official medical services provider for Vitória Sport Clube in this 2025/2026 season, in the context of its mission of ensuring healthcare to the population and local institutions. The protocol between both parties establishes special conditions of access to healthcare for the club’s athletes, members, collaborators, and respective families. At Hospital da Luz, we believe that the practice of sport is fundamental for a healthier life. We are also together in the prevention of prostate cancer.
