João Ferreira Rebelo, Luz Saúde General Counsel, is one of the top legal directors and internal senior counsels of major companies in Portugal , according to the 2026 ranking of the prestigious international publication Legal 500. Released on July 1, the Legal 500 GC Powerlist: Portugal 2026 results from independent research based on criteria such as leadership, achievements, and social impact in the exercise of the legal profession. This is the fifth time that the Luz Saúde legal director is integrated in the “Legal 500” ranking. The 2026 ranking was announced by Legal 500 in Lisbon during a ceremony that has gathered the Portuguese legal elite. “This distinction is a recognition that I share with the whole team of Luz Saúde Legal and Compliance Direction, whose commitment and quality have been determinant to this result, as well as to the affirmation of a juridical function increasingly strategic and oriented towards the creation of value in the units of Hospital da Luz Network”, states João Rebelo.
