Hospital da Luz Digital now offers a new feature : it is possible to add participants to video consultations, both on the patient side (via MY LUZ) and on the physician side (via Hospital da Luz Digital). What does this mean in practice? Patients can now invite family members, caregivers, or other healthcare professionals to join a video consultation, regardless of their location. This feature brings multiple benefits: Children: enables both parents to attend the consultation, even if they are not in the same place. Older adults: makes it easier for family members or caregivers to participate, promoting closer and better-informed support. People in situations of greater vulnerability or dependency: ensures additional support during the consultation, contributing to a calmer, safer, and more comfortable experience. Why does it make a difference? By making it easier for patients’ support networks to participate, this feature contributes to a more human, inclusive, and patient-centered care experience.
