As from March, the Hospital de Santiago will be offering urogynecology appointments aimed specifically at the diagnosis and treatment of female urinary incontinence and pelvic floor or gynecological organ prolapse, held by gynecologist Isabel Matos Canelas. From next month also in urology testing, the complete urodynamic examination of the lower urinary tract will now be available. This examination consists of a functional analysis of the lower urinary tract to assess the functioning of the bladder and urethra.
