Hospital da Luz Vila Real, Bombeiros Voluntários de Mesão Frio (the Firefighters of Mesão Frio) and Cruz Vermelha de Mesão Frio (the Red Cross of Mesão Frio) celebrated a protocol establishing special discounts for the members and employees of both associations, the firefighters and their direct family members. The protocol was signed by Pedro Linhares, the general director of Hospital da Luz Vila Real, António Almeida, the president of Associação Humanitária de Bombeiros Voluntários de Mesão Frio and of Cruz Vermelha de Mesão Frio, and João Cardoso, of the board of Associação Humanitária de Bombeiros Voluntários de Mesão Frio. This initiative emerges in the scope of a strategy of support to the population in the access to healthcare that Hospital da Luz have been developing. The agreement provides discounts* on official costs for all services in Hospital da Luz Guimarães, as for example: Urgent consultations 24h; Planned consultations in medical or surgical specialties; Dental medicine treatments; Complementary diagnostic exams; Surgeries and hospitalization.
