Onde again, Hospital da Luz Arrábida will be the official partner of Bebé Vida in the organization of another Maternity Marathon, this year taking place on September 20, at Fundação Dr António Cupertino de Miranda, in Oporto. This is a very special “marathon” including multiple activities and viewing, above all, to gather hundreds of families in the promotion of maternity and health. This is also a solidarity event, since for every Marathon Kit sold, with a symbolic price of 4.5€, part will be donated to Vida Norte and Stand 4Good – institutions that support respectively pregnant women and babies in situations of fragility and university students in need. The Maternity Marathon taking place between 9.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. comprises: A walk to promote birth rates, a 3 km route (starting at 10.30 a.m.) , with the start and finish line at Fundação Dr António Cupertino de Miranda. Several activities, namely the Maternity Fair: practical classes of diaper changing and bathing, belly painting, pregnant and baby photography, 4D echography, classes of stretching and relaxation for pregnant women, and much more! A maternity team from Hospital da Luz Arrábida , which will be available to clear any doubts by pregnant women. Alternatively, in case of no possibility to participate in-person in this “marathon”, the organization invites all interested to acquire the Marathon Kit and gather the family for a walk in a place of your choice, then sharing a photo on social media (identified as @bebevida.pt).
