Hospital da Luz Clínica de Amarante celebrated a protocol with the Volunteer Firefighters of Amarante (Associação Humanitária de Bombeiros Voluntários de Amarante), establishing special conditions for the corporation elements, their direct family and corporation associates. The protocol was signed last March 25 by Pedro Linhares, general director of Hospital da Luz Clínica de Amarante and Adelmo Vasconcelos Guimarães, president of the association's board (both in the photo above, with the commander Rui Ribeiro, in the right). This initiative emerges in the scope of a strategy of support to the population in the access to healthcare that Hospital da Luz have been developing. Similar agreements have already been signed with the Volunteer Firefighters of Póvoa de Varzim and Vila do Conde. The agreement provides discounts on official costs for all services, namely: Emergency consultations; Planned consultations in medical or surgical specialties; Dental medicine treatments; Complementary diagnostic exams.
