More than 130 teams, with a total of more than 2,500 children and young people aged between 6 and 15, competed in the Dragon Force Pre-Season Cup 2024 - a soccer tournament between the athletes taking part in this project and those in FC Porto's training classes (men and women). The matches took place throughout September at Constituição Park and Colégio de Ermesinde, with the support of the Sports Medicine Center at Hospital da Luz Arrábida. Dragon Force is a sports training project run by FC Porto for girls and young women between the ages of four and fourteen, which Hospital da Luz has joined. Supporting sports institutions and competitions is a valuable tool for fulfilling one of our missions: to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention, which includes practicing sports safely.
