Hospital da Luz Clínica de Odivelas will mark the World Health Day providing screenings destined to the general population, in partnership with the City Council. On April 5 and 6, at the Odivelas Exhibition Center, a team of professionals from the clinic will be available to take measurements of health indicators, such as blood pressure, glycemia and body mass index. The initiative, that is free of cost, has for goal to sensitize the community for adopting healthy life habits. The team will include nursing profissionals, cardiopulmonology technicians and physicians, who will clarify doubts and give advice on health promotion and disease prevention. They will discuss particularly the importance to have a family doctor, and talk about the most common diseases and the treatment of obesity, among other health topics.
