Children born at Hospital da Luz Guimarães maternity may be registered right away as members of Vitória Sport Club. The inclusion of the Hospital in the project Conquistador desde Pequenino (Conqueror from birth) was established in a protocol celebrated this week between the two entities, signed by Silvério Alves, vice-president of Vitória and SAD administrator, and Sérgio Viana and Ana Abreu, respectively member of the governing board and general director of Hospital da Luz Guimarães (in the photo above with Teresa Moura, Director of Nursing). Thanks to this service, and if parents so wish, babies born at our hospital may become Vitória SC members right from the first day of life. All without delays or costs and with guarantee of the membership card delivery at the hospital, the club assures. This agreement with Vitória SC happens in the context of a strategy of connection strengthening between Hospital da Luz and the community and institutions of Guimarães. Hospital da Luz Guimarães and the club hold a strategic partnership in the area of health since 2024, initially related with sports modalities, and then extended to athletes of the professional football team, establishing healthcare services with special conditions of access for athletes, members, collaborators, and families.
