Adalgisa Guerra, the coordinator of the Urogenital Imaging Unit from Hospital da Luz Lisboa, was a guest speaker in the international congress of the European School of Radiology (ESOR), which took place on 13 and 14 June, in Malmö, Sweden. The radiologist talked about her experience in imaging and endometriosis , her area of specialty, having also organized a workshop on the topic. ESOR is connected with the European Society of Radiology and develops activities of imaging research, training and education, gathering for this congress some of the most renowned specialists in Europe. Hospital da Luz Lisboa is one of the European hospital units with a higher number of endometriosis cases – about 400 every year –, a disease that can cause infertility in women and oncologic problems.
