Technological innovation in Ophthalmology is the main topic in “Oracles of Eye Innovation”, an educational webinar for ophthalmologists that will take place on July 22 , organized by Medeuronet. Filomena Ribeiro, the director of the Ophthalmology Service of Hospital da Luz Lisboa, integrates the international panel of specialists in this conference and will make an assessment of the use of new technologies in the pre-operatory evaluation of patients with cataract. In cataract surgery, an intraocular lens is inserted, restoring the functional vision of the patient, now with several technological solutions in intraocular lenses existing, allowing to select the best lens for each patient. Filomena Ribeiro will share with ophthalmologists from all over the world the experience of Hospital da Luz Lisboa in the use of innovating tools in this area, responding to questions such as, for instance: What problems do these new technologies allow to solve?
