Catarina Brito, intern physician of the Neuroradiology Department of Hospital Beatriz Ângelo (HBA) was distinguished with the prize for best scientific oral presentation of the Congresso Nacional de Neurorradiologia (National Congress of Neuroradiology). Promoted by the Sociedade Portuguesa de Neurorradiologia Diagnóstica e Terapêutica – SPNR (Portuguese Society of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Neuroradiology), the event was held on June 28 and 29 in Coimbra. The work, entitled ‘Crossed cerebellar diaschisis in acute ischemic stroke’, of which Denil Tribovane and Pedro Vilela are coauthors, deserved the highest evaluation from the jury. Catarina Brito and the Neuroradiology Department of HBA had also received the award for best oral presentation at the 2018 congress of the SPNR.
