Hospital da Luz Lisboa will receive, at the beginning of 2025, 11 new intern doctors, who will begin their postgraduate training in the specialties of Gastroenterology, Radiology, Gynecology-Obstetrics, Medical Oncology, Pulmonology, Anesthesiology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, General Surgery and Intensive Medicine. This new group of young doctors joins the current 36 interns who are undergoing training at Hospital da Luz, with its clinical services now counting on almost fifty interns in 15 specialties. Gastroenterology and gynecology-obstetrics at Hospital da Luz opened a place for a specialty internship for the first time in this year's competition, and Hospital da Luz was the first choice of gastroenterology for the young doctor who now joins the clinical team for this specialty. In fact, the vacancies available in the various clinical services of the Hospital with training suitability were quickly filled in the first days of choices by young doctors in search of postgraduate training. To date, Hospital da Luz has trained 28 specialist doctors , with three residents in the final stages of training scheduling their specialty exit exam for the first quarter of 2025.
