MUDA Contest First Prize Goes to Hospital da Luz Client

Hospital da Luz Arrábida’s client for three years now, Ricardo Araújo accepted the proposal of that unit in early 2019 and adhered to the Client Portal, having received a code to participate in the contest “Changing is Winning”, which he did “just for sport” and “with no high hopes”.

Therefore, he couldn’t quite believe when a few weeks later someone called him and announced: “You won the first prize, a car!”

Ricardo Araújo, 39 years old, employee in a goods transport company and resident in Oliveira de Azeméis, received the prize this Wednesday, May 15, at Hotel Vila Galé de Paço de Arcos, where he went with his wife by train. The key of the Volkswagen T-Roc was handed to him by Ivo Antão, Luz Saúde manager, and Nilo Fonseca, MUDA executive director.

A fan of mobile applications, “since they ease substantially daily life”, Ricardo Araújo says he prefers to take all services using electronic invoice. What he enjoys the most about Hospital da Luz Client Portal is “to be able to find and consult there the results of exams”, as well as invoices and other data. He already has a car, but it is old, so this prize came in handy, he explains, referring that “a few years ago” he had to deliver some pieces to the Volkswagen facilities in Palmela, used at the time to test the T-Roc model.

Hospital da Luz was one of the companies joining the contest “Changing is Winning”, which took place between January 15 and May 3, promoted by MUDA (Movement for Active Digital Use), with the purpose of encouraging the use of digital services. For over three months, clients of the partner companies of MUDA received codes to activate in the contest site, having received over 5,000 immediate prizes, among which fuel vouchers, culture and technology, cinema, information and leisure vouchers.Closing the contest, the first prize was drawn. According to the organization, 1 million 165 thousand codes were activated.
