They are all health professionals exercising their activity outside the Hospital da Luz Network, as physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, and physiologists, among others, but their contribution has been fundamental by helping many patients find in our units the complementary healthcare needed. We talk about the Hospital da Luz Associated Doctors who, last March 18, have been honored in a small ceremony marked by the delivery of Excellence Awards to those who distinguished themselves in 2025. The network of Hospital da Luz Associated Doctors has been expanding throughout the years. In 2025, they referred to our clinics and hospitals about 1,200 clients, who took here over 2,000 consultations and specialty exams. In the ceremony of March 18, Isabel Vaz and José Roquette, respectively the Luz Saúde CEO and Clinical Council president, delivered the Excellence Awards to the associated doctors Ana Cristina Vitor, Ana Moura, Fábia Gama Silva, Filipe Bernardo, João Mário Figueira, Jorge Alcaravela, José Clemente, Olímpio Pereira, Rui Fortuna, and Tomé Lopes. Other special guests were also a number of Hospital da Luz most solicited physicians participating in the project, namely Eduardo Carpinteiro , Francisco Xavier Vazquez , Hélder Dores , Pedro Figueiredo and Paulo Rego . The program Hospital da Luz Associated Doctors: Is destined for health professionals exercising privately and requiring complementary services for their clients that they can find at Hospital da Luz. Exists since 2007 when Hospital da Luz Lisboa was opened and has progressively accompanied the network expansion. Today it is present in seven Hospital da Luz hospitals and clinics: Lisboa, Oeiras, Setúbal, Amadora, Luísa Todi, Odivelas and Vila Franca de Xira. In 2026, the project will be extended to other units, thus enlarging its geographical coverage and ensuring wider proximity to external health professionals who can count with Hospital da Luz as partner of reference. Offers resources and tools allowing these clinical professionals to refer their patients in an efficient, safe, and transparent way to the nearest Hospital da Luz unit and all types of healthcare, from consultations and exams to surgeries. The Associated Doctors integrating this program have an exclusive portal, the Associated Doctors Portal , that was recently improved in terms of image and new functionalities – with emphasis on the sharing of clinical results, allowing for instance these clinical professionals to access online the images of exams carried out at Hospital da Luz by their patients. Through the portal, it is moreover possible to request the scheduling of exams, consultations and video consultations for their clients, consult the status and agenda of appointments, and access exam reports.
