The football team of the Varzim Sport Club visited the Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim, between the end of July and the beginning of August, to carry out the pre-season football medical exams 2020-2021. The athletes of the VSC senior football team underwent lab tests, electrocardiograms, echocardiograms and stress tests, which are indispensable tests to assess whether they are able to join the team during the next national championship. These 2019-2020 pre-season exams were carried out within the scope of the protocol between the club and the Hospital da Luz Póvoa de Varzim, which also provides special discounts for the respective members.
