The Easter edition of Foot Camp Dragon Force, the FC Porto football school destined to children aged 3 to 15, received this Thursday April 9 a few Hospital da Luz Arrábida professionals that taught them how to assist people in difficulty and administer first aid. Still enjoying their school break, the about 300 participants had the opportunity to learn football, but also healthcare with the support of Hospital da Luz . The session took place at the New Balance Park, in Constituição, Oporto. Three nurses from Hospital da Luz Arrábida paediatric department have explained how to administer first aid to victims of health problems or even in cardiorespiratory arrest. They simulated Basic Life Support procedures resorting to manikins and gave the children the opportunity to try too. Our mascot Lu was also a “subject” of the procedures delighting the younger ones. Hospital da Luz Arrábida thanks FC Porto for the opportunity to join once again this initiative, and for all the collaboration provided.
